We strive to be the best sports surfacing company in Metro Atlanta. Success Sports Surfacing, based in Duluth, GA, started when founders Dave Wengryn and Andrew Stanley decided to combine their youth and experience doing something they had always been passionate about sports and sports surfaces. Our company leadership is comprised of President Dave Wengryn, Vice President Andrew Stanley, and Vice President of Marketing and Communications Harrison Wengryn.

Meet Our Team

Dave Wengryn
President

Dave Wengryn, a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, started in the sports surfacing industry in Atlanta, Georgia in 1987. He began his career as the Southeast Regional Manager for Connor Sports after graduating from Duquesne University. He was promoted to Executive Vice President just five years later in 1992. During his tenure as Vice President, Dave helped grow the company into the largest maple flooring manufacturer in the world and got to work with many high-profile clients including the NBA, NCAA, Nike, and the Olympics to name a few. After a 13-year tenure with Connor, Dave left the manufacturing side of the industry to watch his sons grow up. He then got his start on the contracting side of the industry where he helped run multiple businesses until starting Success Sports Surfacing in 2019.

Andrew Stanley
Vice President

Andrew Stanley was born and raised in Lawrenceville, GA. He attended Peachtree Ridge Highschool in Suwanee before going on to play football at Mercer University in Macon, GA. He grew up in the sports surfacing industry helping unload trucks and install floors from the early age of 15. After graduating from Mercer, Andrew started in a sales role working for eventual partner Dave Wengryn. Having learned all aspects of the business from the ground up, it was a smooth transition into helping start a new company where he took on many roles, handling all aspects of the business, including sales, project management, estimating, and logistics. Andrew enjoys being active and participating in fitness events, golf, and outdoor activities like hunting and fishing. 

Harrison Wengryn
VP Marketing & Communications

Harrison Wengryn was born and raised in Duluth, Georgia. Harrison graduated from the College of Charleston in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. From there, Harrison received his Masters of Science in Integrated Marketing & Communications (IMC) from the University of Mississippi in 2019. Harrison spent his earliest professional years working for numerous professional sports organizations as well as working with numerous high-profile athletes. Harrison specializes in handling all engagement, marketing, and communication based efforts for Success Sports Surfacing.

  • How much does a floor cost?
    We tailor each project and project design to the customers specific needs, wants, and current maintenance capacity. Our standard protocol is to meeting with customers in person to discuss the project and see the space in order to provide the most efficient, performance oriented outcome.
  • How much industry experience do you have/what is your background?
    We have 50 years of industry experience between the owners of the company.
  • What are the range of project types you all do?
    With the exception of ice, there is no athletic surfacing project that we can't do or assist with. We have installed projects in homes, public and private schools, with parks and recreation departments, colleges and universities, corporations, foundations, etc.
  • Why should we use Success Sports Surfacing?
    We furnish and install premium sports surfacing products. We plan to stay involved with all our customers for the life of their facilities/projects. We consider our communication with customers to be the best. We don't care to be the biggest only the best.
  • How long will our floor last?
    All the products we install have a projected life expectancy based on standard wear and tear and maintenance protocols. Our goal is to exceed the expectations by providing our customers with working knowledge and the best maintenance practices.
  • How do we maintain our floors and know when to do said maintenance?
    We use all industry approved products and follow all industry approved guidelines. We stay in constant communication with our customers after projects are completed to ensure continued performance, durability, and aesthetics.
